◆ Treatment process: Disinfection
◆ Water treatment volume: 3-20000m³/d
[Tap water disinfection] Sodium hypochlorite generator disinfection
Sodium hypochlorite solution is much safer than liquid chlorine at room temperature. Therefore, the transportation and storage of sodium hypochlorite solution are more convenient. Sodium hypochlorite disinfection mainly includes two methods: finished product procurement and on-site preparation using a sodium hypochlorite generator. The preparation process is generally the electrolysis of saline water process. This disinfection method is also often used by some medical institutions for sewage treatment.
[Tap water disinfection] Ozone generator disinfection
Ozone disinfection is widely used in the production of bottled and barreled drinking water. Ozone disinfection does not have the ability to continuously disinfect and needs to be used in conjunction with chlorine-containing disinfectants. Ozone disinfection is faster than liquid chlorine disinfection and has a stronger ability to remove odors. Therefore, ozone is more often used as pre-oxidation in drinking water for deodorization and decolorization, and to assist in the subsequent process stages in treating large molecular pollutants such as humic acid.
[Tap water disinfection] Chlorine dioxide generator disinfection
The disinfection mechanism of chlorine dioxide is mainly to penetrate the outer layer of microbial cells into the cell, destroy enzymes and DNA, and then kill microorganisms. Chlorine dioxide disinfection can better control the generation of trihalomethanes and other disinfection by-products produced in traditional disinfection, but there are also two large-scale popularization bottlenecks: high cost and explosiveness.
